Please briefly tell us about your background? (Where do you come from, studies…: )
I come from the countryside of QUERCITAIN (near Valenciennes). My last degree was a DEA in solid mechanics in 1998.
After graduation, I did 10 months of military service and then I worked in different service companies. The same as Marie Noelle, internal designer also at VELEC for some time.
My biggest customer for whom I have worked is ECL in Ronchin (manufacturer of special machines for the aluminum industry).
How did you meet VELEC ?
I met VELEC in 2018 during an assignment with them.
What made you want to join us?
I was tired of being a service provider. I wanted to settle down. What made me want to come is, first of all, the work atmosphere that I had been able to appreciate during my small mission. But the fact that I can work from home is a very important point because it’s exhausting to travel more than 160 km every day.
What are your missions during your first months?
For the moment I am working with Victor, a project manager, on a cardboard machine and more precisely on the store and structure part.
What do you like best about your job?
What I like most about my work is being able to create parts and then see them come to life, being able to touch them and integrate them into our systems.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I don’t really have a guilty pleasure, I enjoy crafting but I do have a passion for cars that I passed on to my son.
